Fudge, Dense Black Bean Brownie – Cheap and Healthy

Brownies made in the food processor with no bowl required! Bake and slice into the most decadent, rich and fudgy brownies without the guilt! You will truly be amazed that these are so low-fat!


15.5 oz Can of Goya Black Beans

Ghirardelli 100% Unsweetened Baking Cocoa

1/2 t Baking Powder

1/2 cup Unsweetened Soy Milk

1/2 cup Flour – All Purpose or Whole Wheat


Add 5 packets of Splenda or 3 packets of stevia, or 4 T Agave or Maple Syrup


  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray an 8×8 metal square pan or 6-inch diameter pyrex glass with nonstick spray.
  2. Toss all ingredients into a Nutri-Bullet or some other blender.
  3. Spread batter in dish.
  4. Bake 30-35 minutes. You’ll know it’s done when brownie is puffy and the top forms a firm crust.
  5. Let cool for 20 minutes.
  6. Keep any leftovers in a tupperware in your fridge to keep them fresh.
