How many mornings do I get to write that: I woke up feeling relaxed Spent an enjoyable early morning washing up dishes, as my husband slept off some late night coding, from yesterday night’s superb vegan kitchen-sink, vegetable laden vegan lasagna that our omnivore, used to fancy restaurants because he’s a trader that has to entertain clients regularly, friend could not compliment enough (and which I had for breakfast!), as he quickly finished one plate and went back for seconds, Then lazily took my time feeding the dogs at our petsit before happily sidling downstairs to the building gym to indulge in moving my body?

And I’m always finding ways to “pay it forward” with our gracious petsit hosts, whether getting them house plants to lift up the spirits of their home, or reorganizing their home office so that it is tidier than ever.

Don’t drop weights on your toe from the squatting bar while at Crossfit… And then continue to workout another 15 minutes.. and then wait 5 hours of perpetual bleeding before going to Urgent Care.
OMG. I have entered some messy apartments, and truth be told, I have probably entered some places just as messy, and for people who haven’t just moved in like this owner, AKA the hoarders in Williamsburg who spied on us! However, I’m still fairly astounded to see that she just up and left with boxes half emptied nearly any which way you turned. Hello! We just came back from our trip from Berlin, where we just finished petsitting for our former NYC client, Thunder the dachshund. It’s a bit of an adjustment getting back to life here, but fortunately this morning I booked a last minute petsit that has us living back in another person’s apartment with two extremely adorable dogs, Waverly and Truffle! The house is a bit of a mess as their owner has just moved in and has been nonstop traveling ever since, so we are living among piles of boxes, magazines, and clothing.
